Police are seeking to speak to a woman who boarded a flight to Canberra from Sydney Airport in relation to the theft of designer goods worth about $4000.
In an official statement, the Australian Federal Police (AFP) said it is seeking public assistance to identify the woman who may be able to assist with inquiries into the theft from a retail outlet at Sydney's domestic airport.
The items, which include a Camilla silk scarf, Fendi sunglasses and a GHD hair straightener, were stolen from the store located in the domestic terminal 2 on mornings of September 3, 7 and on October 29, police said.
The woman is described as having a Middle Eastern appearance, with long brown hair and speaks with a lisp.
She was seen carrying a maroon coloured handbag and a black bag.
