AVONDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — An investigation is underway after an Arizona Department of Public Safety trooper was involved in a crash Thursday night.

The crash happened in the intersection of 107th Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road around 9:30 p.m.

Arizona Family news helicopter footage showed one car in the middle of the intersection with damage and a DPS vehicle being towed.

DPS says there are injuries but it is unclear who was injured and the extent of their injuries.
