SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - The City of Savannah is looking for input when it comes to the new Herb Traub Gathering Space at Forsyth Park.
The City’s Park and Tree Department partnered with the Downtown and Midtown Rotary Clubs to hold a public informational session at the Bull Street Library, Thursday night.
Members from the Rotary Clubs presented plans, gathered feedback from the public, and addressed community concerns about the project.
Plans call for a courtyard with new hardscaping, shade trees, seating areas, and landscaping. According to the City of Savannah, the project aims to transform a corner of Forsyth Park into a “vibrant hub of conversation and connection within the community.”
