MOORHEAD, Minn. (KVRR)- In just their first year in Class 6A football, the biggest Class in Minnesota High School Football, the Moorhead Spuds are in the State Semifinals.
The road to get to this point was full of adversity, but now, the Spuds are a win away from the Prep Bowl.
“I knew coming into this season we would have some challenges,” said junior running back Taye Reich. “But I knew we would hang with them. I mean, really the biggest difference between 6A and 5A is just the level of competition. It’s just a little bit higher, but everybody still wants to win either way. You know, 1A to 6A, everybody wants to win. That’s the goal. So it doesn’t really matter as long as we have the right mindset.”
