The Sandwich Visitor Services Board approved three funding requests at its regular meeting on Tuesday morning.
The first request was for the Holly Days Community Carol Sing, a holiday singing event hosted by First Church. Visitor Services Board member and the Reverend Tina Walker-Morin of First Church said the funding will support placing an advertisement and song lyrics in the Holly Days booklet, a guidebook to Sandwich’s festive events, and a police detail to close a small road section from the corner of Main Street to the River Street intersection.
