The United States is grappling with a significant labour shortage, particularly in skilled trades, impacting its renowned technology and automotive sectors.
Ford Motor Company’s CEO Jim Farley shared that the company struggles to fill 5,000 mechanic positions despite offering lucrative salaries of up to Rs 1 crore per year.
Farley stressed that this issue extends beyond Ford, affecting the entire nation. Over 1 million vital jobs remain vacant across the US, including roles for plumbers, electricians, factory workers, and truck drivers.
