New York, Nov 14: Amazon has initiated another round of layoffs, cutting 660 corporate jobs across nine of its New York City offices, according to a filing on the state’s Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) dashboard. This comes months after the tech giant announced its largest post-pandemic downsizing, eliminating around 14,000 corporate positions globally.

The latest layoffs, effective November 8, impacted employees across multiple Manhattan locations, including offices on 7th Avenue, 10th Avenue, and 34th Street. The disclosures were made in compliance with New York labor laws that mandate advance notification for mass job cuts.
