Tarn Taran Bypoll: AAP maintains strong lead in 15th round, ahead by over 11,000 votes

Tarn Taran (Punjab), November 14, 2025 — The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) continues to dominate the Tarn Taran Assembly by-election as counting progresses. After the completion of the 15th round, AAP candidate Harmeet Singh Sandhu remains firmly in the lead by more than 11,000 votes.

AAP (Aam Aadmi Party): 40,169 votes

SAD (Shiromani Akali Dal): 28,852 votes

Congress: 14,010 votes

Waris Punjab De: 18,315 votes

BJP: 5,762 votes

With AAP’s lead holding steady across multiple rounds, the party appears well-positioned for a decisive victory. Counting is still underway, and further updates are expected soon.
