AAP dominates Tarn Taran Bypoll, lead rises to 11,117 votes after Round 14

Tarn Taran (Punjab), November 14, 2025 — The counting of votes for the Tarn Taran Assembly by-election continued on Friday, with the 14th round now completed. As per the latest update, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has further strengthened its march toward victory.

AAP candidate Harmeet Singh Sandhu has widened his lead over the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) candidate by 11,117 votes, putting the party in a commanding position.

Vote Tally After Round 14

AAP (Aam Aadmi Party): 37,582 votes

SAD (Shiromani Akali Dal): 26,465 votes

Waris Punjab De: 17,052 votes

Congress: 12,809 votes

BJP: 5,316 votes
