Police in Northamptonshire are searching for a woman involved in a sexual assault that occurred in Queensway Park, Wellingborough, on the night of Tuesday, November 4. The incident took place between 9pm and 10pm when a woman was approached by another female while walking near the underpass.
According to a police statement, the assailant became fixated on the victim's appearance before inappropriately touching her. Following this, the offender's boyfriend approached the two women. The assailant then shook his hand before also inappropriately touching him and fleeing the scene.
The suspect is described as a white female, approximately 5ft 3in tall, of medium build, with dark brown messy hair and blue eyes that had dark circles underneath. She spoke with a strong Eastern European accent. At the time of the incident, she was wearing a large black coat, a pink pyjama top adorned with flowers, and dark baggy bottoms. She was also carrying a black bag featuring a white logo.
Authorities are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has been approached in a similar manner in the park to come forward. Information can be reported to Northamptonshire Police by calling 101 or anonymously through Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.
