Storm Claudia has hit Birmingham amid an amber rain warning over the 'risk of flooding' today, Friday, November 14.

The Met Office issued an 12-hour amber warning for rain between midday and midnight.

A yellow weather warning, also for rain, remains in place until 6am tomorrow, Saturday, November 15.

The persistent wet weather will lead to a risk of flooding and challenging driving conditions, the Met Office said.
