Parachute hair oil-maker Marico Ltd reported net profit of Rs 420 crore for the September quarter on November 14, marginally lower than Rs 423 crore reported in the same quarter last year. The FMCG major’s revenue from operations rose 31 percent to Rs 3, 482 crore, driven by broad-based growth across its product portfolio.

On a standalone basis, revenue grew 30 per cent to Rs 2,426 crore in the September quarter, while net profit declined 25 per cent to Rs 399 crore, the company said in a filing on November 14.

It reported underlying volume growth of 7% in the India business and constant currency growth of 20% in the international business, in Q2.
