CRYSTAL FALLS — The Crystal Falls District Community Library welcomes Australian author R. Aveen to talk about her young adult novel, “Animal Listeners,” the first book in a planned several-volume series, at 6 p.m. Monday at the library.
All are invited to attend. The Friends of the Library will provide refreshments.
“If you have a tween/teen in your life that is an animal lover, this would be a great book to buy them for Christmas,” Library Director Evelyn Gathu said. “I have been corresponding with this author for about six months, and I am so delighted that she could fit a visit to our library into her schedule. She is delightful, and I do hope you come and hear all about her new series and her writing and publishing process.”
The library is at 237 Superior Ave. downtown
