HARRIS — Do you have a holiday recipe that everyone raves about? Here’s your chance to have it showcased on stage at the third-annual “Taste of the Island” Cooking Show – Holiday Edition, taking place Thursday, Dec. 11, at the Island Resort & Casino, W399 U.S. 2 in Harris.
The event, hosted by the Daily Press and the Island Resort & Casino, will be in the casino’s convention center. Tickets cost $20 each, with corporate tables that seat six available for $100. Doors open at 5 p.m., and the event runs from 6 to 9 p.m.
Selected recipes will be prepared live by executive chefs William Carden and Kristina Pomeroy, who will demonstrate the winning dishes on stage during the show.
