After a dominant performance in the opening round of the playoffs, Ware Shoals is hitting the road this week for the second round — their first away game in several weeks.
Ware Shoals will face Hunter-Kindard Tyler, a 9–2 squad that earned the top seed in its region. Dodson expects a tough, athletic opponent.
“They’re very fast and athletic; they can take it to the house on any given play,” Ware Shoals coach Chris Dodson said. “Their offensive and defensive lines are strong and physical.”
Dodson was proud of his team’s effort on both sides of the ball last week, particularly on defense.
