HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) - Above-average temperatures take over today with even warmer weather on the way.
DISCUSSION:
Temperatures on the last day of the work week will continue to warm slightly. On Friday, high temperatures are expected to be in the mid to upper 60s under mostly sunny skies. There is a slight chance of a sprinkle in the evening hours.
This chance of a sprinkle will increase to a slight chance of scattered showers overnight, continuing into Saturday morning. Most of Saturday will remain dry, with partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies. Temperatures will reach their warmest of the week, peaking in the upper 60s and low 70s. However, a cold front will move through overnight, bringing the potential for storms beginning late in the evening and continuing into the night.
