BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - Jordan wood and his campaign made a stop in Bangor Thursday for a townhall.
He took questions from residents on a variety of issues ranging from social concerns all the way to healthcare and economic inquiries.
Wood dropped out of the senate race this week to pursue a seat in the house for Maine’s second congressional district, after Representative Jared Golden announced he wouldn’t seek re-election. Wood said his message is staying the same as he pursues the democratic nomination.
“These issues around affordability, they’re priorities because they’re my lived experience,” he said.
He believes these experiences make him the right man for the job.
