Loveland Aleworks will brew all its beer, starting next year, using malt from Root Shoot Malting LLC.

To recognize the collaboration, the two Loveland companies have created Vera’s Magic Pils, a Pilsner brewed with Magic Pilsner Malt and Vera hop. “The first sip is clean and bright; the second one feels like a convertible ride through barley fields at sunset,” the companies said in a press statement.

“We’ve worked with Loveland Aleworks for years — they’re not customers, they’re friends,” Mike Myers of Root Shoot Malting said in the statement.

Loveland Aleworks will debut Vera’s Magic Pils at its Friendsgiving Celebration and Potluck on Sunday at the brewpub, 118 W. Fourth St.
