Nagpur: Sanyogita Misar of SB City College, Nagpur, broke 39-year-old women’s 100m hurdles record while Mitali Bhoyar and Gaurav Khodatkar picked their second gold medals in the Inter-Collegiate Annual Athletics meet on synthetic track of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) on Thursday. Sanyogita carved out a time of 16.12seconds to better the old record of 18 seconds that was achieved by Dhanwate National College’s Chitra Gandhe (Pantawane) way back in 1986.
Parmesha Nagpure (19.10 secs) of Hislop College and Aditi Bidwaik of Dr AIMR College (19.11) took the second and third spots respectively.
