High pressure will continue to stick around over the southeast U.S. through at least Sunday bringing plenty of sunshine and climbing temps to eastern NC.
We’ll start off with cold mid 30s Friday morning withs some frostly windshields at sunrise. Temps will jump to the mid 60s by early afternoon with under continued sunny skies with winds under 10 mph from the north.
Winds will turn more southerly over the weekend with temps lifting accordingly. Saturday’s highs will peak around 70° with mid 70s likely Sunday afternoon. Both days will bring plenty of sunshine. Great weather for all outdoor activities from Pirate football to leaf raking.
