Mumbai, Nov 14: Veteran actress Kamini Kaushal — celebrated as one of Indian cinema’s earliest and longest-standing icons — has passed away at 98. She had been facing age-related health challenges, and according to those close to the family, her loved ones have chosen to grieve privately. A family friend shared that the Kaushal family “is extremely low profile and needs privacy” during this period.
Born in Lahore as the youngest of five siblings, Kamini Kaushal carved an extraordinary path in Indian cinema.
