ISLE OF PALMS — Fewer people paid for parking this beach season than in 2024 and fewer than 10 people took advantage of the city’s seasonal and weekly parking passes. Despite these lower numbers, the city still brought in more money from parking.
The Isle of Palms’ contracted parking vendor, PCI Municipal Services, reported to city council on Nov. 12 that although traffic was down, revenue collected from the island’s 658 parking spots was up. The boosted figure follows major changes from earlier this year on how parking rules are managed and enforced by PCI.
