The Congress recorded a strong victory in the Hyderabad’s Jubilee Hills Assembly bypoll, with party candidate Naveen Yadav V winning by 24,729 votes. According to the results declared after Round 10, Yadav secured 98,988 votes.

Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) candidate Maganti Sunitha Gopinath finished second with 74,259 votes, losing by the same margin. BJP’s Deepak Reddy Lankala trailed far behind, polling 17,061 votes.

Reacting to the result, Naveen Yadav said he was grateful to voters for the support. “I am thankful to people who believed in me and made me win by such a big majority,” he said in Hyderabad.
