A Hurricane Relief Efforts for Jamaica campaign has been launched in Peterborough and is seeking support from the community.
Created by a Peterborough-based social worker and supported by members of the Afrocentric Awareness Network in Peterborough (AANP), the campaign will gather much-needed supplies for those who lost their homes to Hurricane Melissa, which made landfall in Jamaica on Oct. 28. Collection dates span from Nov. 11-23.
