CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - Surveillance video obtained this week from Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools shows the moment when parents walked into a high school with a weapon.

Surveillance video obtained exclusively this week by WBTV shows a woman and her husband allegedly walk into Palisades High School with a weapon on Aug. 25, the first day of class.

Court records show that Regina Mungin and her husband Miquel Williams were accused of bringing weapons onto school property that day. Williams reportedly had a pocket knife on him while inside the school, and Mungin reportedly had a firearm in her car.

The parents were arrested and released from jail after they signed a written promise to appear in court.

Mungin claims this situation was all an accident. If anything, she told WBTV that she
