Srinagar, Nov 14: The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Friday suspended DySP Sunil Singh, who was serving as the then SDPO Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, pending a departmental inquiry.
The action was taken under Rule 31(1) of the J&K Civil Services (Classification, Control & Appeal) Rules, 1956, as per Government Order No. 541-Home of 2025.
According to the order, DySP Sunil Singh has been attached to the Police Headquarters, J&K, for the duration of his suspension.
The suspension directive—approved by the Lieutenant Governor—was issued by Chandraker Bharti (IAS), Principal Secretary to the Government, Home Department. (KNC)
