A gang-rape survivor in Uttar Pradesh’s Bulandshahr defied attempts by police to stop her and personally met the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police, urging strict action against her rapists.

A video of the dramatic encounter went viral on social media, drawing widespread attention.

According to reports, the victim was initially prevented from meeting the DIG by both male and female officers at the police station. Undeterred, she managed to slip past them and directly approached the senior officer to demand justice.

The woman was allegedly gang-raped by six men a few days ago. Police have arrested four of the accused and remanded them to jail, while two remain at large. During her meeting with the DIG, the victim appealed for the immediate arrest of the remaining suspects.
