Tehran, Nov 14: Iran has sharply dismissed allegations made by the Group of Seven (G7) foreign ministers, with foreign ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei condemning the criticisms as “baseless and irresponsible.” His remarks came on Thursday in response to a joint communiqué issued at the conclusion of the G7 meeting in Canada’s Niagara region, according to Xinhua.
In their statement, the G7 foreign ministers accused Iran of supplying military support to Russia in its war against Ukraine. They also urged Tehran to comply fully with UN Security Council resolutions and the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), calling for renewed cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), including reopening access to all nuclear sites and materials
