A 14-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a teenager was stabbed in Birmingham city centre in the latest incident of knife violence to hit the area.
West Midlands Police said officers were called to reports of disorder near the Bull sculpture outside the Bullring just after 8pm on Thursday (November 13). A 17-year-old boy was taken to hospital with stab wounds, though his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
A 14-year-old was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. Three 18-year-olds were detained on suspicion of wounding, while a 22-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. All five remain in custody, the Birmingham Mail reports.
