Nearly five years after his passing, actor Chadwick Boseman is set to be honoured with a posthumous star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The late Black Panther star, who died in 2020 at the age of 43 after a private battle with colon cancer, will receive the honour on November 20.
According to Billboard, the ceremony will feature tributes from filmmaker Ryan Coogler, who directed Boseman in Black Panther, and actress Viola Davis, who starred alongside him in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom. Boseman’s wife, Simone Ledward-Boseman, will accept the honour on his behalf.
