It’s state championship season for UNC football .
Following consecutive wins, the Tar Heels (4-5, 2-3 ACC) close the regular season with a three-game stretch against Tobacco Road rivals, starting at Wake Forest (6-3, 3-3) on Nov. 15 (4:30 p.m., The CW ) in Winston-Salem.
“I’ve been in a lot of (rivalries) before, but the ones regionally are just different. And Tobacco Road, we’ve certainly talked about that with a lot of people who have played in a lot of these games, or coached in them or been around them,” UNC coach Bill Belichick said during his weekly press conference on Nov. 11.
