The Leapfrog Group , an independent national nonprofit organization that provides patient safety ratings for hospitals, announced the results of its latest grading cycle and nine hospitals in Arizona earned “A” ratings, making them the safest hospitals in Arizona and among the safest in the nation.

Mayo Clinic in Arizona has consistently earned an A grade in every Leapfrog grading cycle since 2012 and is among just 11 hospitals nationwide to achieve this perfect score. Nearly 3,000 hospitals across the U.S. receive safety grades from Leapfrog during two grading periods per year.
