Ohio high school athletes being able to earn money through name, image and likeness (NIL) deals appears to be something coming to the state sooner, rather than later.
Last month, the Ohio High School Athletic Association board of directors set the dates for member high schools to vote on an emergency bylaw referendum on NIL .
Schools will cast their votes next week, Nov. 17-21, with the high school principal voting on behalf of the school. Each member high school has one vote. Watch Ohio High School Sports Live on the NFHS Network all season
