Former New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll came under fire after entering the medical tent during rookie Jaxson Dart’s concussion check in Week 6. Though Dart led a win over the Philadelphia Eagles , the move sparked criticism and league fines, with some questioning whether Daboll put the rookie’s safety at risk.
Adding to the scrutiny, analyst Chris Simms, son of Giants legend Phil Simms, offered a blistering take on Daboll’s mindset during the November 13 Dan Patrick Show .
“We got to win this one, or I (Daboll) might get fired. I’m gonna ruin the rookie quarterback’s career today and run him up the middle 75 times, but I want to win and keep my job,” Chris said.
