Fifteen areas of the West Midlands region have been hit with flood alerts amid the arrival of Storm Claudia.

The alerts issued by the Environment Agency (EA) cover Birmingham, the Black Country, Solihull , Staffordshire and Worcestershire .

The EA issues flood alerts when it's believed flooding is possible and households should prepare.
