Hockey India announced an 18-member squad for the 2025 Men’s Junior Hockey World Cup, scheduled from November 28 to December 10 in Chennai and Madurai.

Defender and dragflicker Rohit will captain the side after his strong performance in the Sultan of Johor Cup. Moreover, star striker Araijeet Singh Hundal will miss the tournament due to a shoulder injury, which creates a significant gap in the forward line.

The team, coached by former India goalkeeper P.R. Sreejesh, will compete in Pool B alongside Chile, Switzerland, and Oman. Furthermore, the squad features a mix of experienced defenders, balanced midfielders, and promising forwards, giving India depth across all departments.
