The Jets strung together two straight wins not long after the front office traded away several star players in a clear sign of trying to align itself to draft yet another franchise quarterback, but a return to reality was in store with a 27-14 defeat at the hands of the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium on Thursday Night Football.
