Barcelona star Marcus Rashford could be back in the Premier League sooner than expected, but not with Manchester United. The 28-year-old departed Old Trafford for Catalonia this past summer to join another club on loan after a fruitful temporary spell at Aston Villa.

In his four months at Villa Park, Rashford made 17 appearances and contributed directly to 10 goals. He hit the total after just 12 games with Barcelona and has since racked up a further two goals and three assists.

Hansi Flick's side currently sit second in La Liga and tenth in the Champions League which is certainly an impressive achievement given the attacking injuries Barcelona have had to deal with. Raphinha, Lamine Yamal and Robert Lewandowksi have all missed periods this season. READ MORE : Ole G
