TUMAKURU: Upa Lokayukta Justice (retd) Veerappa is on a two-day visit of Tumakuru district starting Friday. During his visit, he inspected various places, including the APMC market and KSRTC bus stand.

At the APMC market near Yellapur, he interacted with farmers and traders to understand their issues and problems. He also inspected the facilities available at the market, including electricity, water supply, and toilets. He also took officials to task over encroachments.

At the KSRTC bus stand, he will interact with passengers and inspect the bus stand’s facilities, including toilets, seating arrangements, and cleanliness. He also checked stalls selling eatables and beverages.
