A West Aussie’s life will never be the same after their ticket won the entire $50 million jackpot in Thursday’s Powerball draw.

West Aussie’s that bought a ticket for Thursday’s draw will be scrambling to check their numbers as they have a chance to be the only division one winner in the country.

It’s the biggest win belonging to a WA ticket this year, smashing the $30m win from April when a local punter also had fortune on their side, winning the entire Powerball prize.

Another West Aussie fell just short of taking a piece of the division one pie, matching all seven numbers but was off the mark with the Powerball - instead taking home $160,671.15 with a division two win.

Division three spelt riches for 12 Sandgropers, who will each pick up a nice $12,820.95 heading into the weekend.
