Yellowstone might have ended, but it’s still considered the gold standard for the Western and neo-Western genres on television. The series — which covered the personal, business, and political conflicts along the shared borders of the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch, the Broken Rock Indian reservation, and Yellowstone National Park — has spawned a major franchise. Its prequels, 1883 and 1923, have been equally great, and the upcoming sequels, The Madison and Y: Marshals, are also expected to impress.
