HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - We’re on our way to record highs all across the area. Skies will be mostly sunny as temperatures climb to around 25 to 30 degrees above average. Highs will at least get to the upper 70s and lower 80s. On these extremely above average days, temperatures do tend to exceed expectations. So I wouldn’t rule out some mid 80s. Here are some of the current record highs across the area. They include Broken Bow and Valentine (79°), North Platte, McCook, and Imperial (78°), Lincoln (75°), Hastings (74°), Norfolk (72°), and Grand Island (71°).
