Pimpri-Chinchwad: The Cyber Police Station and Crime Branch Unit 2 of Pimpri-Chinchwad Police Commissionerate carried out a joint raid and action against two fake call centres involved in defrauding American citizens. A total of 23 individuals have been booked in the case.

Police Commissioner Vinay Kumar Choubey had received information about illegal call centres operating in the Hinjawadi area. Acting on these inputs, he directed teams from the Cyber Police Station and Crime Branch Unit 2 to verify the information and conduct raids accordingly.
