It was no surprise to hear Judge praising Cal Raleigh , whom he narrowly beat in the American League’s MVP voting, on Thursday night. No. 99 became only the fourth Yankee to win the award for a third time, but he went out of his way to commend the Mariners’ catcher who made his history of his own.
Raleigh’s 60 home runs set a record by a catcher. He also led the AL in RBIs. No one would’ve complained if he, not Judge, captured
