Punjab disburses Rs 17 crore in a single day under Mission Chardi Kala to support flood-hit families

Chandigarh, November 14, 2025: The Punjab Government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, continued its extensive relief campaign Mission Chardi Kala, providing financial assistance to families affected by floods and heavy rains. On Thursday alone, the state disbursed over ₹17 crore to beneficiaries across multiple districts.
As part of this statewide effort, Cabinet Minister Harjot Singh Bains distributed crop compensation worth ₹2.26 crore to flood-affected farmers of the Sri Anandpur Sahib constituency at village Jindwari.
Detailing the distribution, Bains said:
