MACON, Ga. — A federal jury this week convicted a North Carolina man of sending an anti-Semitic threat to a Macon rabbi.
Last year, we reported on the federal charge against Ariel Collazo-Ramos of High Point N.C.. He was charged with one count of mailing threatening communications to Rabbi Elizabeth Bahar of Temple Beth Israel in Macon.
According to the indictment, she received a threatening postcard at her home by the U.S. Postal Service on Feb. 1, 2024.
On one side of the postcard, there was a handwritten message: "Is there a child rape, torture, and murder tunnel under your house? We have the Zyklon B. Use Code "GASTHEJEWS" for 10% off!"
