BAY CITY, MI – General Motors has awarded a combined $120,000 to six nonprofits in the Bay City and Saginaw area to support STEAM education and road safety.
This week, the company awarded $60,000 to three Bay County nonprofits and another $60,000 to three Saginaw area nonprofits, according to a Nov. 13 news release from GM.
Organizations awarded grants by GM this week include the Bay Area Community Foundation, Bay County Historical Society, United Way of Bay County, United Way of Saginaw County, Mid-Michigan Children’s Museum and First Ward, which supports STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) programming.
The grant funds are being provided by GM Bay City Operations and GM Saginaw Metal Casting Operations through GM’s Community Impact Grants Program, which supports efforts to
