Developers of a $90 million pro-soccer stadium in downtown Des Moines hope to finalize funding for the long-awaited project within the next few days, potentially starting construction next year. The stadium is planned for an old industrial site at ML King and Southwest 16th, with developer Kyle Krause and the Iowa Soccer Development Foundation expressing optimism about the project's progress.

"It's been a long process. You know, things are complicated and they take time," said Kyle Krause, CEO of Krause Group.
