Almost £38,000 worth of illicit tobacco and vapes have been seized from shops across the Midlands.
Trading Standards officers from Staffordshire County Council discovered the illegal goods at 14 premises across Cannock , Lichfield , Stafford, Staffordshire Moorlands and Tamworth in October.
In total they seized 28.6kg of hand-rolling tobacco, 46,220 cigarettes and 1,413 illegal vapes with a street value of £37,955.

Staffordshire Police and district and borough councils, supported the action, which has seen investigations launched into the shops.
Some have been warned they face prosecution and could even be forced to close.
