MAULDIN, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - A man accused of killing two people in a Mauldin home has been denied bond.
Daniel Baer appeared in court on Friday morning. He is facing two counts of murder and two counts of possession of a gun/knife during a violent crime.
In court, a judge deemed Baer as a danger to society.
This stems from an incident that took place on Ashby Park Lane in Oct. 2023 . Officials said at least 24 hours had gone by before 69-year-old Janice L. Casey and another victim were found dead inside a home.
The Greenville County Coroner’s Office stated that both victims had signs of traumatic injuries.
